Bekele "Bek" Anwar
A skeptical Operative who fights dirty. Orphaned on a spinning habitat, alone by habit, and trying to stop being. Turns up when things are bad, helps, and leaves.
Descriptor: Skeptical · Type: Operative · Focus: Fights Dirty · Tier: 1
Overview
Bek grew up in the gaps of a spinning space habitat — the maintenance runs, the service voids, the places between the places people are supposed to be. Orphaned, he survived by knowing those gaps better than anyone looking for him, and he did it alone for long enough that alone became the default rather than the circumstance.
He is trying to break that. Not gracefully. Everything he learned about staying alive argues against trusting anyone, and he is deliberately overriding it — which looks, from outside, like a man who keeps showing up for people and then leaving before anyone can ask him to stay.
He fights the way he grew up: no forms, no honor, whatever ends it. He goes for eyes. He throws things. He hits people who are looking the other way because he made them look the other way. He is not proud of the style and he is not apologizing for it either — it is simply what was available.
He entered this campaign as Orin Solren's Old Friend player intrusion, which is still how he most naturally arrives in a scene.

Abilities
- Escape (2 Speed) — rolls to escape restraints, grips, bars, or quicksand treat a result under 9 as a 9 (so no intrusion on a 1). Effort raises the floor by 3; the floor becomes 12 at tier 3. Action
- Sneak Attack (1 Speed) — +5 damage with a light weapon when attacking with surprise, when an ally eases the attack, when the foe is distracted, or when the foe cannot take their next turn. Light weapons only. First action
- Spin Identity (2 Intellect) — convincing a creature, computer, or surveillance system that he is someone other than himself treats a result under 6 as a 6. Not impersonation of a specific person — a category. "I'm with the government." Persists until a ten-minute recovery unless blown. Action
- Dirty Trick (1 Intellect) — Intellect attack to distract; success hinders the foe's defense against his melee attack this round. Hindered by one further step each time after the first in a single encounter — they catch on. Can be spent on a non-attack instead (open the cages, pocket the keycard) with an eased bluff to hide it. Enabler
- Go For The Eyes (2 Speed) — hindered melee attack; on a hit the foe's vision is impaired until they take a ten-minute recovery, hindering nearly everything they do. Action
